ISDS Foundation Supports Illinois Dental Schools
The Illinois State Dental Society Foundation is proud to announce its continued support for dental education in Illinois through the Dr. Keith and Peggy Dickey Dental Education Endowment Fund program. This year, the Foundation is funding three major projects at the state's dental schools, each aimed at improving student training, expanding access to care, and strengthening the dental workforce. $9,000 will be awarded to each school at this year's ISDS Annual Session.

Resolution Submission Reminder
Reminder from the ISDS Speaker of the House of Delegates: (Per the ISDS Bylaws) “All resolutions considered by the House must be offered in writing by the President, the Board of Trustees, a Society committee, by one of the component societies, or signed by five (5) members in good standing provided such resolutions are received at the ISDS headquarters at least 30 days prior to the opening meeting of the House of Delegates.

Practice Pending License
Thanks to the advocacy efforts of the Illinois State Dental Society, the Illinois Dental Practice Act allows dentist and dental hygienists that are new graduates to practice under the delegation of a licensed “supervising” dentist while awaiting licensure.
