UPDATE: Aetna and Out-of-Network Providers Payment Announcement

Update: We have a major advocacy win to share with Illinois dentists. Aetna has confirmed that it will not move forward with its planned changes to payment reimbursement methods for Illinois dentists at this time. This is the outcome ISDS has been working toward.

Illinois Prescription Monitoring Program Changes

ISDS Foundation Supports Illinois Dental Schools

The Illinois State Dental Society Foundation is proud to announce its continued support for dental education in Illinois through the Dr. Keith and Peggy Dickey Dental Education Endowment Fund program. Dental Practice Act Modernized and Reauthorized Through 2030 and Signed by the Governor

ISDS secured long-term stability and meaningful updates to the Dental Practice Act, ensuring Illinois dentists can continue to practice under modern, profession-forward standards. The Governor recently signed the legislation, and it is now in effect.
